+ POWER

To fit many operational requirements Z-Link offers a choice of arrangements for providing power to the camera and its accessories. In many cases, users can easily configure the power to best suit their needs

This option powers the camera from the OB/studio via a 8mm hybrid fibre optical cable; the only cable connecting the camera. This provides an ample 200W available at up to 1.8km range, so cameras and Z-Link can always be powered up, stable and ready for action. Accessories such as zoom control, microphones, LCD monitors, camera lights, etc, can also be powered.

Hybrid Power adds an adapter that can be on camera, clipped to the back to the Camera Adapter, or located on an In-Line PSU. This allows adjustment of camera balance and weight to optimise configuration for on-the-shoulder or tripod support. The power is supplied from a 1RU box located at the OB/studio.
